GORMATHON from Bollnäs play style according to its definition nineties, with a faint grating friendliness and attraction to classic heavy metal, rather than modern tendencies. The songs are epic in their attitude rather than length, the pace is never faster than necessary and every beating of drums fills a function. This is mature songwriting that gives the compositions sustainable use-by date. Choosing to sing rather than growl is a good one, although his voice lacks power in the darker passages. The neoclassical guitar solo in "Marble Orchard" is also a welcome surprise and shows that the crew plans other than to paint themselves into a corner.' Gormathon look of these three tracks, apparently to Hälsinge flag flies for some time in the Swedish hard rock front line. Genre-wise it falls somewhere between the cracks of heavy, speed and melodic deathmetal. Hard to define in itself is no guarantee of complete originality. The title track "Gormathon" sounds a bit like if someone has crossed Amon Amarth "Gods of War Arise" by Judas Priest "Hell Patrol". Quite powerful.
